DADS released an information letter and news alerts:
- CLASS and DBMD providers: DADS will implement an edit that won’t allow providers to be paid for more than 24 hours of service in 24-hour day, effective September 1. (Letter)
- DADS alerted MRAs and HSC program providers of the revised Form 8665, Person Directed Plan.
- Registration for DADS 2010 ICF/MR Provider and Surveyor Conference is now open. For more information, click here. The conference will be held on November 3-4 at the Commons Conference Center, J.J. Pickle Research Campus, Austin, Texas.
- Registration for the Initial CLASS External Stakeholder Quarterly Webinar is open. For more information, click here. The webinar will be held on October 4, 2010, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Registration for the Protection through Partnerships Webinar is open. For more information, click here. The webinar will be held October 22, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- DADS used to allow CWP HCSSAs to use either the Form 2219, Individual Service Plan — Non Waiver Services, or Form 8598, Non-Waiver Services do a number of things, including recording the third-party resources available to the individual and documenting the non-waiver services available for access by the individual. Effective October 1, these providers must use and submit Form 8598, Individual Service Plan (ISP) — Non-Waiver Services.
- The ICM 1915(c) waiver program has been added to the list of programs that use Form 8598, ISP Non Waiver Services, and DADS has changed the title from “ISP Non Waiver Services” to “Non Waiver Services.”
